Membership Information Membership requires that you provide My Event Guru with certain information. My Event Guru will not disclose your contact information to any third party without your prior consent. My Event Guru will only do so in order to comply with applicable laws or in legal proceedings where such information is relevant. My Event Guru does not sell its Membership information to any third party, but may disclose certain aggregate information, excluding individual contact information. My Event Guru reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership, if any of the Terms of Use have been violated. My Event Guru also reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership for any reason. No refunds will be provided for any user or member that My Event Guru has terminated. In addition, no refund will be provided in the case of voluntary termination. However, if My Event Guru refuses membership, any funds collected for membership will be refunded. Passwords and Security Users are responsible for maintaining their passwords and confidentiality of their account. Users are responsible for notifying My Event Guru immediately if there is any unauthorized use of their account. Users are responsible for all uses and registration even if not authorized by them. Users are prohibited from sharing their account access with others and agree not to resell or assign your rights or obligations.User Billing and Payments As a user, you agree to the following terms:Billing Only Corporate Members are eligible to receive invoices. Invoices will be created upon inception of services rendered. Payments to My Event Guru are due no later than 30 days from the date of the invoice. My Event Guru reserves the right to charge fees to delinquent customers.Payments Payments to customers will be made at the end of each calendar month. A minimum of $100 must be accrued in a customer account before a check will be sent. Customers are notified of each download when it occurs, and have access to online reporting which details all activity.Fees and Charges My Event Guru requires a minimum of $2.00 to be charged for content. A percentage of each sale will be deducted from each total sale amount. Refer to our schedule of fees within our Membership section. The customer will accrue the total sale less our fee into their account. These customer revenues do not accrue interest, and will be dispersed once the $100 threshold has been met. Members that wish to terminate their membership can request a check of their existing balance by notifying us via email or letter.User Content and Posts Users are solely responsible for their account information, passwords, content, correspondence, communication or other information known as User Content. Any User Content posted, submitted, displayed, or transmitted to others becomes property of My Event Guru. By posting the User Content to any public or non-public area of My Event Guru or any of its sites, you accept these Terms of Use, and warrant that you have the right to do so. In addition, you grant My Event Guru and its sites to the following rights of usage of User Content:
My Event Guru is not responsible for and has no obligation to screen and monitor User Content posted by users. However, My Event Guru may review and delete any user content (in sole judgment of My Event Guru) that violates the Terms of Use, applicable law, contains illegal or harmful content, and anything deemed offensive. In addition, My Event Guru reserves the right to terminate the access of any offenders and prevent further access. My Event Guru also reserves the right to take any action that it deems appropriate to protect the company from any liability. My Event Guru also reserves the right, in sole discretion, to investigate and take legal action against anyone who engages in illegal activity or violates the Terms of Use. My Event Guru will notify the proper authorities. My Event Guru does not guarantee or represent User Content. The accuracy, truthfulness, reliability, and communication of User Content is not verified by My Event Guru. Users accept that reliance on material or content posted by other users will be at their own risk. My Event Guru does not endorse any opinions expressed by users, and has no liability or responsibility to users for performance or non performance of any such activities. Guru Rewards Program My Event Guru has a program to reward loyal members for using our services. These rewards can be earned for both paid and free services. You agree not to engage in any fradulent behavior in order to obtain free rewards. My Event Guru reserves the right to change or terminate the reward accrual schedule as well as the rewards themselves at any time, for any reason, and without notice. Feedback My Event Guru welcomes your Feedback and comments relating to our sites. We highly value what our users have to say. My Event Guru asks that your comments are specific to our services. Any inventions, creative ideas, concepts, materials or other similar information should be excluded. We are not allowed to accept or consider these types of Feedback. However, if Feedback of this type of information is sent despite our request, the Feedback becomes property of My Event Guru. None of the Feedback received becomes subject to any obligation on the part of My Event Guru. My Event Guru will not be liable for any use or disclosure of this information. My Event Guru exclusively owns the Feedback, including later discovered rights, is entitled to its unrestricted usage, and is not responsible or liable for compensation to the individual or individuals who submitted the Feedback. My Event Guru Liability My Event Guru is an online community and provides services for users. My Event Guru is not involved in actual transactions or communications, and does not verify the information provided. Therefore, My Event Guru has no control over the legality, quality, or safety of Events, Jobs, Projects, other content, and their implied representations. In addition, My Event Guru does not screen or censor content on its Web Sites. Users should proceed at their own risk. Users assume all risks associated with other users or third parties with whom you have come in contact using My Event Guru. Users are expected to use common sense and caution when using My Event Guru. My Event Guru members are pre-screened, but because authentication on the Internet is difficult, My Event Guru cannot and does not confirm that each user is who they claim to be. In the event that you have a dispute with one or more users, you release the Company (and our agents and employees) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential, direct and indirect) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes. California residents - (you) waive California Civil Code d1542, which states: "A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor." My Event Guru does not guarantee or promise any specific results from the use of My Event Guru.
