Blogs, search engines and social networks like Facebook and YouTube are changing the way we do business. In this new era, whether they like your product or hate it, customers are talking to each other as much or more than they are talking to you. Customer service professionals need to know how to use the new online tools to properly participate in this online conversation. This workshop discusses the social media tools that are most relevant for consumer affairs and customer service, and shows how companies can best use them to engage with their customers. You will leave with: · Working knowledge of ways top companies are interacting with customers using new tools. · Terminology and tips for helping your company to connect with customers and improve relationships. · New data from research groups devoted to understanding how social networking will impact our future.
